Broken Arm and Shattered Elbow Settlement (2008)

A man accused of shoplifting some grocery items was thrown to the ground and detained by a store security guard.  The man's left arm was broken and his elbow was shattered in the process.  The injuries required extensive surgery to treat, but he was able to return to work.  Just prior to trial, the injured man's claim was settled with the grocery store for a confidential amount.
