| The number of deaths associated with the blood thinning drug heparin rose to 62 between January 2007 and this month, the Food and Drug Administration announced Tuesday. According to FDA statistics 47 of those deaths came during a recent four-month period during which problems with Baxter Healthcare Corp-produced heparin was reported.
